Jannik Sinner doesn’t need much to command attention. In Gucci’s latest Made in Italy campaign, the world No. 1 tennis player proves exactly that, fronting a series of images that feel as effortless as his rise through the sport.
Released as Wimbledon gets underway, the campaign sees Gucci once again turn to its global brand ambassador to celebrate the values that have shaped the House for more than a century. Rather than focusing solely on sporting success, Made in Italy places craftsmanship, heritage and contemporary Italian style at the heart of the story, with Sinner embodying a quiet confidence that feels entirely his own.
The campaign was unveiled with a dinner in London on 22 June, where friends of the House gathered ahead of the Championships.
Sinner’s relationship with Gucci has evolved naturally over the past few years. Whether arriving at tournaments or stepping onto the red carpet, his understated approach to dressing has made him a fitting representative for the House, where elegance often comes through in the details rather than grand gestures.
That connection also reflects Gucci’s long-standing relationship with tennis. Since the 1970s, the sport has inspired the House’s collections through its blend of refinement and ease. Made in Italy continues that conversation, pairing one of Italy’s most recognisable sporting figures with a campaign that looks back to the brand’s roots while remaining firmly grounded in the present.
As Sinner returns to Wimbledon for his sixth consecutive appearance, Gucci’s latest campaign serves as another reminder that some of fashion’s strongest partnerships are built over time.
Here, the conversation between sport, craftsmanship and personal style feels less like a campaign and more like a natural continuation of a relationship that has grown stronger with each passing season.
